Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?
In most cases, no referral is required thanks to direct access laws. You can start physical therapy right away. However, some insurance plans (including certain Blue Cross Blue Shield plans) may require a referral for coverage, so we’ll help verify this before your first visit.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring:
• A valid photo ID
• Your insurance card (if using insurance)
• Any referral or prescription (if applicable)
• Relevant medical records or imaging reports (MRI, X-ray, etc.)
• Comfortable clothing for movement and assessment
How do you verify my insurance coverage?
We contact your insurance provider directly to verify:
• Your deductible and coinsurance
• Visit limits or authorization requirements
• Estimated out-of-pocket costs
